Gurteen Esquire Corn Corduroy Trousers
Gurteen & Sons Ltd makes these genuinly British corduroyCorduroy is a textile composed of twisted fibers that, when woven, lie parallel (similar to twill) to one another to form the cloth's distinct pattern, a "cord." Modern corduroy is most commonly composed of tufted cords, sometimes exhibiting a channel (bare to the base fabric) between the tufts. Corduroy is, in essence, a ridged form of velvet. In Sweden known as "Manchester" trousers using fabric from Brisbane Moss. They are cut with a flat front and a medium high waist. Comfortably worn with a belt, or even smarter, with suspenders. These cords come in a subtle beige colour called Corn.
100 % cotton. Flat front, medium high waist and tapered leg. French bearer and hook and loop fastener. Belt loops. Plain finished legs. Wash in 40 °C or dry clean.
If water washed expect 1 inch (2.5 cm) inseam length shrinkage.
