2008-11-27Growing increasingly tired of "functional" plastic clothing, Karl Oskar Källsner now wants to dress shooters, riders, flyfishers and golfers in tweed. In England there is a more traditional approach to outdoor clothing, although without making a functional sacrifice. Being well dressed but not overly formal, whether in the office or in the field, is a joy best experienced in classic English country clothing.

Corduroy is a textile composed of twisted fibers that, when woven, lie parallel (similar to twill) to one another to form the cloth's distinct pattern, a "cord." Modern corduroy is most commonly composed of tufted cords, sometimes exhibiting a channel (bare to the base fabric) between the tufts. Corduroy is, in essence, a ridged form of velvet. In Sweden known as "Manchester"
