Press Release: Tweed Country Sports open up in Stockholm

British clothing, footwear and accessories
The shop is stocked with garments inspired by rural England, yet equally suited for city use. Ladies and gentlemen can choose among tweeds, corduroys and tattersalls from Bladen and Magee, wax cotton jackets and Aran jumpers from Peregrine, lambswool and cashmere knitwear from William Lockie, shoes and boots from Tricker’s and canvas bags from Chapman Bags. All in a genuine setting furnished with solid wood, leather and brass.

Large interest for British style
During the first days the shop has been very well received by the locals and other by-passers. The area outside the shop window has occasionally been crowded, and inside the store many positive comments have been uttered.

– Our range is British altogether, and you will find nothing alike in Stockholm or in other parts of Sweden for that matter, says Karl Oskar Källsner, Managing director of Tweed Country Sports. – The interest for tweed and classic garments is increasingly large, and we are very happy bring a piece of England to Stockholm.

Tricker’s MTO
Saturdays customers can place custom orders from the esteemed Northampton shoemaker Tricker’s. All lasts, styles, soles and leathers are available and the right size will be expertly fitted. Two to three months later one can pick up a unique pair of Tricker’s all made entirely according to the customer’s specification.

Store opening on Saturday November 20 th
The store opens as usual at 11. Between 14 and 18 there is a small reception serving refreshments and sandwiches from Classic Tea Room just down the street. Discounts and special offers all day.
