Magee

Magee has 144 years of Irish heritage and history, founded in 1866 as a small shop in Donegal by John Magee. Today internationally renowned for their luxurious and colourful fabrics. Their collection is a statement of colour and luxury. Exquisite fabrics and sharp tailoring for the gentleman that is looking for something timeless but contemporary.

Originally dyes for the cloth were obtained from the land, yellow from gorse flowers, orange from rock lichens, red from fuchsia, purple from blackberries and black from peat and ash. These colours still influence the seasonal palettes today.

Magees famous Donegal tweeds are still handwoven and steeped in all the tradition with flecks of natural colour and simple design of either herringbone or salt and pepper. Magee brings you true Irish heritage for everyday use.
